Trama La storia di una monaca

Gabriella van der Mal, figlia di un famoso medica belga, poco più che ventenne decide di farsi suora e va a vivere in convento. Il primo periodo, con i mesi da novizia e il suo studiare da infermiera, non è per nulla semplice per Gabriella, che nel frattempo ha assunto il nome di Suor Lucia. La sua dedizione attraversa così un periodo di profonda sofferenza e mentre lei spera di poter svolgere il suo compito in Congo finisce invece per essere mandata in una casa di riposo ad Anversa. Finalmente può coronare il suo sogno di recarsi in Africa, ma anche lì si ritrova combattuta sulla giusta strada da seguire.
