Trama La musica nel cuore - August Rush
Lyla Novacek, bella violoncellista, e Louis Connelly, chitarrista di un gruppo rock irlandese, trascorrono una notte di passione per poi separarsi in fretta e furia. Lei si scopre incinta e il futuro nascituro viene affidato ad un orfanotrofio. Undici anni più tardi Evan ha sviluppato una grande abilità per la musica, che lo rende spesso vittima delle angherie da parte dei bulli. Il ragazzino è convinto che i suoi genitori prima o poi andranno a prenderlo e decide di fuggire a New York, convinto che le sue doti riusciranno a condurlo dalla sua famiglia. Lì si imbatte in un individuo misterioso che cambierà per sempre il suo futuro.
