Trama Cuori ribelli

Irlanda, sul finire dell'Ottocento. Il giovane contadino Joseph Donnelly, reduce dalla scomparsa del padre e testimone dell'incendio della sua fattoria da parte della banda facente capo al crudele possidente terriero Daniel Christie, intende vendicarsi. Ma dopo aver incontrato la figlia del suo nemico, la giovane Shannon, cambia idea e decide di fuggire con lei negli Stati Uniti, dove immensi lotti di terreno vengono promessi a chi ne faccia domanda. Ma giunti sul posto i due scoprono una realtà ben differente e si troveranno a lottare per il loro amore nascente, contro un destino che vorrebbe dividerli.
