Trama Colette

Dopo aver sposato Henry Gauthier-Villars, scrittore parigino di grande successo, la bella Gabrielle Colette abbandona la sua casa nelle campagne francesi per trasferirsi nella capitale, dove entra in un mondo raffinato di artisti. Poco dopo il marito le chiede di fargli da ghostwriter e Colette inizia a scrivere un romanzo su una ragazza campagnola di nome Claudine: il libro ha un successo straordinario e diventa un best-seller. Il legame tra i due deve fare i conti con restrizioni sociali ed etiche nella società del tempo, ma insieme la coppia rivoluzionerà l'ambiente della letteratura francese.
