Trama Big Fish - Le storie di una vita incredibile

William e il padre Edward non hanno mai avuto un ottimo rapporto e soprattutto il figlio ha mosso il genitore l'accusa di raccontare storie esagerate riguardo il suo passato, inserendo sempre particolari fantastici e fiabeschi al di là di ogni immaginazione. Quando scopre che l'uomo è gravemente malato, William cerca di riappacificarvisi prima che sia troppo tardi e i ricordi dei racconti di infanzia rientrano prepotentemente nel suo immaginario. E ben presto il ragazzo scoprirà in prima persona come il padre abbia nascosto diverse verità in quelle vicenda apparentemente fuori dal mondo.
