Trama Pixels

Anni Ottanta. Il giovane Sam Brenner, tredici anni, ha preso parte a un torneo di videogiochi nel quale ha perso una partita da Donkey Kong contro un certo Eddie Plant. Una disfatta che segnato per sempre la sua vita, trasformandolo in un nerd. Anni dopo Sam lavora di installazioni di apparecchiature audio-video mentre il suo amico Will Cooper è diventato addirittura presidente degli USA. Quando gli Stati Uniti vengono minacciati da un'invasione aliena, con gli extraterrestri che hanno frainteso un video riguardante i videogame, Sam si ritroverà determinante nella lotta per la sopravvivenza della razza umana.
