Trama Il verdetto

Frank Galvin un tempo era tra gli avvocati più richiesti sulla piazza, ma ora è dedito all'alcoolismo e la sua carriera è in caduta libera. L'occasione per il grande ritorno gli si presenta quando accetta l'accusa in un processo contro un rinomato ospedale, colpevole di aver ridotto la sua cliente in uno stato vegetativo. Dopo aver rifiutato un patteggiamento che avrebbe potuto risollevarlo dal punto di vista economico, Galvin intraprenderà una dura battaglia per ottenere giustizia e rimettere al contempo in piedi la propria vita.
