Trama Guardiani della Galassia

Reduce dalla morte della madre, un ancora bambino Peter Quill viene rapito da un gruppo di pirati spaziali conosciuti come i Ravagers, guidati dal leader Yondu Udonta. Ventisei anni più tardi Quill si trova sul pianeta Morag per rubare un misteriosa sfera quando subisce l’attacco da parte di Korath, il sottoposto di un fanatico militante Kree, Ronan. Riuscito a fuggire con l’oggetto, il ragazzo finirà invischiato in un intrigo nel quale presto sono coinvolti la bella assassina Gamora, il procione mutante Rocket e l'albero umanoide Groot. Rinchiusi in un carcere di massima sicurezza, nel tentativo di evasione a loro presto si aggiungerà il massiccio Drax il Distruttore: insieme l'insolita compagna diventerà determinante per il destino della galassia.Un cult della moderna fantascienza applicata al genere supereroistico, capace di offrire emozioni, risate e spettacolo con un perfetto equilibrio, tra verve citazionista ed effetti speciali di prima grandezza. Personaggi memorabili (ottimo il cast, anche vocale) abilmente diretti con mano sicura dal regista James Gunn.
