Trama Dave - Presidente per un giorno
William Harrison Mitchell, presidente americano, è oberato da impegni e decide così di affidare al suo staff la ricerca di un sosia. L'ultimo tra i selezionati è un certo Dave Kovic, uomo probo e altruista. Quando Mitchell è vittima di un ictus, viene nascosta la verità alla First Lady Ellen e si lascia Dave come presidente a tutti gli effetti. Il problema è ora insegnargli tutte le regole e le buone maniere a tempo debito, mentre qualcuno brama alle sue spalle per salire al potere.
