Trama 1997: Fuga da New York
La città di New York è stata trasformata in una gigantesca prigione di massima sicurezza, dove vengono mandati i detenuti. Jena Plissken, un ex marine che deve scontare l'ergastolo per rapina, riceve una proposta: avrà in cambio la libertà se prenderà parte con successo a una pericolosa missione. L'aereo su cui viaggiava il presidente degli Stati Uniti è infatti stato dirottato, con il politico ora in ostaggio nelle mani del crudele gangster conosciuto come il Duca. Il compito di Jena sarà più complicato del previsto e non potrà fidarsi di niente e nessuno.
