Trama Un poliziotto a 4 zampe

Il detective Michael Dooley non va molto d'accordo coi suoi superiori per via dei suoi metodi sbrigativi e anche a casa non se la passa meglio, con la fidanzata Tracy stanca del suo lavoro. Dooley sta partecipando alle indagini su un narcotraffico facente capo al losco e potente Lyman e nel tentativo di trovare le prove decide di affidarsi ad un cane antidroga. Gli viene così affidato Jerry Lee, un pastore tedesco più pigro del previsto, che sembra non rispondere ai suoi comandi. Quando Dooley si avvicina alla verità, Lyman fa rapire Tracy e questa volta la presenza di Jerry Lee sarà determinante per ritrovarla sana e salva.
