Trama Pat Garrett e Billy the Kid

Pat Garrett e Billy the Kid sono stati vere e proprie leggende del vecchio west, compagni di avventure e rapine che li hanno resi una sorta di figure mitiche. I due separano le loro strade quando Pat decide di diventare sceriffo per difendere i coloni, oppressi proprio dalle scorribande dell'amico Billy. E lo scontro tra loro sarà ricco di malinconia verso un'epoca destinata a tramontare per sempre.
