Trama Loving - L'amore deve nascere libero

Nel giugno del 1958, in un periodo storico in cui i matrimoni misti erano considerati illegali, Richard Loving - bianco - e Mildred - nera - vengono arrestati. La pena potrebbe essere sospesa soltanto qualora i due decidessero di lasciare lo stato. La coppia accetta ma negli anni successivi porta avanti una battaglia legale per riuscire a far vincere il loro amore su tutto e poter ottenere la possibilità di far ritorno a casa.
