Trama K-PAX - Da un altro mondo

L'enigmatico e tranquillo Prot insiste sul fatto di essere caduto sulla Terra dal lontano pianeta K-Pax, ma potrebbe invece essere semplicemente reduce da un passato segnato da traumi? Questo è ciò che lo psichiatra Mark Powell cerca di comprendere. Nel frattempo, mentre è ricoverato in un istituto psichiatrico, Prot dimostra di esercitare un'enorme influenza sugli altri degenti e allo stesso tempo stupisce esperti e professori con la sua vasta conoscenza scientifica.
