Trama Una poltrona per due

Louis Winthorpe III e Billie Ray Valentine non potrebbero essere più diversi tra loro: il primo è un agente di cambio, impiegato nella compagnia Duke & Duke, con un futuro roseo davanti a sé, mentre il secondo è un senzatetto afroamericano che vive alla giornata. Un giorno i fratelli Duke, proprietari dell'azienda, fanno una scommessa tra loro, decidendo di assumere Valentine al posto di Winthorpe, nel frattempo appositamente messo fuori gioco. Ma quando lo "scherzo" dei due ricconi viene scoperto dalle loro pedine, queste decideranno di unire le forze per fargliela pagare...
