Trama Ruth & Alex - L'amore cerca casa

Il pittore Alex e sua moglie Ruth, insegnante, acquistano un piccolo appartamento della città di Brooklyn, dove, circa quaranta anni dopo, scopriranno che, nonostante non abbia chissà quale vantaggio e bellezza, ha acquisito un valore economico abbastanza elevato. Grazie alla nipote Lily, riescono a mettere in vendita la loro amata, ma ormai scomoda casa, tentando di trovarne un'altra che sia adatta alle esigenze della loro inoltrata età. A causa di alcuni imprevisti, però, l'impresa della vendita si farà sempre più ardua. Riusciranno i coniugi a ricavarne qualcosa per acquistare un altro nido?
