Trama Il re dei re

Il falegname Giuseppe e la moglie Maria arrivano a Betlemme, in una Giudea da poco governata dal crudele Erode. Senza un desco per dormire, la coppia trova rifugio in una stalla, dove viene alla luce il loro figlio Gesù. Saputo dell'evento, Erode decide di far assassinare tutti i piccoli nati durante quella notte, ma Gesù riesce a sopravvivere. Trent'anni dopo il profeta è pronto ad iniziare il suo percorso di fede, compiendo miracoli e attirando a sé una folta schiera di seguaci, dando il via alla storia del cristianesimo.
