Trama Donne, regole... e tanti guai!
Rachel, ragazza dal carattere ribelle e schiava dell'alcool, suscita la preoccupazione della madre Lilly che, stanca della situazione, decide di portarla dalla nonna Georgia, che abita in una fattoria nello stato dell'Idaho, al fine di imporre alla figlia un po' di sana disciplina. Georgia infatti è una donna rigorosa e sa come farsi rispettare, riuscendo a mettere in riga quella scalmanata nipote, della quale dovrà prendersi cura durante la stagione estiva. Quella che sembrava inizialmente una convivenza forzata, permetterà alle tre donne di ritrovare quel feeling familiare che era andato smarrito.
